Position Title: Member Specialist
Location: S2 Pickleball, Boise ID
Reports To: General Manager
Hourly Range: Starting at $15 BOE Part-time

S2 Pickleball is Boise’s premier indoor Pickleball facility offering state-of-the-art pickleball  amenities. Our club is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for members and guests through top-notch facilities, engaging programs, and excellent customer service.

Your Mission:

The Member Specialist at S2 Pickleball is all about creating a fantastic experience for our guests and members! If you're enthusiastic, customer-focused, and ready to promote the fun of pickleball while keeping our facility in top shape, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest and Member Check-in:

  • Greet and check in guests and members with a smile.

  • Verify membership status and handle payments or guest fees.

  • Share information about the facility, programs, and exciting upcoming events.

Membership Sales and Promotion:

  • Educate guests on the awesome benefits of S2 Pickleball membership.

  • Promote membership packages and special offers to potential members.

  • Follow up with prospective members to encourage them to join our community.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Help keep the facility tidy and presentable with light cleaning duties.

  • Regularly inspect common areas and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and order.

  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Manager.

Customer Service:

  • Address member and guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.

  • Build positive relationships with members to enhance their experience.

  • Assist with organizing and running events or activities as needed.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of membership information and guest visits.

  • Assist with inventory management and sales of merchandise or equipment.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is a big plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with membership management software.

  • Passion for sports, especially pickleball, is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Active: Ability to sit, stand, climb, squat, kneel, and reach as needed.

  • Strong: Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
